Overall good hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean with comfy bed. Food is verging on overpriced for the quality, but good overall. Caesar salad, ice cream sundae, Bottle of Sol and a coke was £32

Staff very friendly and room was quaint, and the two massages we got were excellent would totally recommend, evening meal was out of this world .if you are looking for an affordable and romantic place to stay, this is ideal.

Myself and my partner came up to meet Liz on the 18th January to discuss our upcoming wedding details and to ask questions (poor Liz got her ear chewed off with all the stuff I needed help with) but answered all my questions and settled any worries/stress I had about our wedding, our fussy guests, overnight stays and even the room for my bridal party to get ready in the morning of the wedding

in the time spent with Liz going over our questions she made us feel so at ease and relaxed, answered all our questions and nothing we asked for was too much.
We can now enjoy the build up to the wedding knowing we’re in safe hands with Liz and her team supporting us

Absolutly perfect birthday get away
The whole experience was perfect! Spa was amazing, the hotel and surrounding areas were second to none. We ate in the bar, food was brilliant. Breakfast was gorgeous too! Already looking at returning, we loved it

Stayed at this hotel for a friends family funeral so not the best circumstances. Evening meal was very good as was breakfast, but previously half used pots of jam is unacceptable, anywhere. Hot water on timer so early risers beware. Dortmund beer on tap.

Overall great few days away
The spa facility is fantastic can spend all day in that thermal pool. Room was really nice and comfortable
House being built spoiling the view however out with the control of the hotel. Can’t mark you down on that.

We had our graduation ball here and an overnight stay, I could not fault them on anything, the experience was perfect! Staff are friendly and welcoming, everything was spotlessly clean big variety for breakfast and was fresh and tasty!

The location was good the facility’s were great and the staff were very helpful
The room we were first given was dirty there was mould on the window a stain on the bed sheets cobwebs on the roof and it took us almost 3 hours to get this issue resolved

Rooms a little dated and our room (31) was noisy up to about 12:00 midnight (function below room) and early in morning preparing breakfast.

The breakfasts are buffet style and have a reasonable selection. Dinner was more than adequate.
The rooms are spacious however we had issues with a broken temperature gauge which rendered the bath / shower useless.
The bedroom walls are thin, so you'll hear what neighbouring rooms are up to!

Spa facilities, large comfortable rooms, nice decor throughout, overnight rate is reasonable.
The bar menu needs more choice, no individual changing rooms in spa. Spa treatments not available after 6pm which is likely time I'd use it.

Pleasant short stay
Breakfast was very nice and a varied choice. Very quiet setting ideal to just get away and relax. A very nice pool that you can view over the hills

Loved the stay, loved the swimming pool and enjoyed the food.
I went here with my 9 years old Grandchildren and we loved the pool, we spent quite a lot of time in there. We all thought the breakfast was excellent, there was a lot of choice. We had a couple of meals in the bar which we all really enjoyed. I will be going again.

Visited with a teenager, no fault at all everything was great. We had 2 issues which were fully resolved during our stay to a very high standard. Excellent service in the restaurant and Harry and John in the bar were fantastic.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Very large comfortable room. Our bathroom had a bath and a separate shower cubicle.Very spacious room. Both very clean. Evening meal very good. Deal was room, 2course meal and bottle of wine as well as being able to use the facilities in the hotel. Well worth the money!! Large swimming pool that had an area for lane swimming. Thermal spa area was great,outside door was open and it was nice to be in the fresh air whilst sitting in the hot water (quite a contrast in a cool January day!).Staff really lovely. Would stay again
