My husband treated me to a night away for my birthday and I couldn't recommend it enough. Facilities and staff were fantastic throughout our stay. We had a 3 course meal in the evening, the food was amazing and the staff were amazing.

My daughter chose this hotel to be her wedding venue. From beginning to end, the hotel staff and wedding coordinators have been superb.
The bedrooms are spacious and very very clean. The beds are exceptionally comfy.
The food was delicious.
The staff are attentive and helpful at all times.
Her wedding was everything she wanted and more.
All her family and friends had an amazing time.. Thankyou for all your hard work.

The room was nice, the leisure facilities superb, and breakfast was just the ticket.

The only downside to our visit was that dinner was not great. Perhaps affected by having had fantastic experiences with eating her before.

I have always loved it here and have visited many, many times. However this trip didn't quite live up to the previous ones. It was very, very cold in our room as the radiator wasn't working. We didn't comlain as we've always enjoyed it so much on other occassions. Apart from that though this a lovely place and very good value for money

Chose LDV for hubby's 60th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary. We had one of the 'cottage' type accommodation at the back and it was lovely. Very spacious, clean and cosy. Only criticism was the shower cubicle plughole must have been blocked as it filled up with water quite clearly. We only booked bed and breakfast but due to the weather that day we decided not to venture out and had a meal in the bar area. Really disappointed with quality of the meals, the chips were awful and hard. We told staff that we weren't happy but were just offered some fries, should have offered a discount on the bill. The meals weren't worth the prices that were charged.
The second night we went to a local pub called The Flag, highly recommend, got 3 course meal, side orders and drinks for £33! The service was great.
We used the spa facilities whilst we were there. The ladies changing room is cramped and lacks privacy, there should be some changing cubicles especially for ladies who are post op, breast cancer etc. Extremely disrespectful young women and young men came into the outdoor pool area with mobile phones, one blasting out music. People are generally there to relax and shouldn't be subject to having to put up with thoughtless , selfish people! I told staff on reception in the spa. There is a sign in the area indicating a ban but obviously some people believe this doesn't apply to them.
Breakfast - a big shout to Isabel who was looking after guests at breakfast. A genuine person who worked hard and spoke to us in a lovely way. Breakfast choices were lovely.
Overall, it is a lovely place but it does need updating in some areas.

Me and my partner got married at The Last Drop Village on Valentines Day and everything was just perfect! The staff were amazing from start to finish and could not do enough for you (as the bride and groom) and for the guests. Jacqueline Tulloch our Wedding Co-ordinator could not have been more helpful. We planned and booked our wedding 2 years in advance and the closer it came Jacqueline double checked everything for us. She was always so helpful at getting back to us straight away and reassured us with whatever we threw at her. I highly recommend The Last Drop Village for weddings, a spa break or a weekend/night away. The rooms are so clean and modern. The complementary bridal suite was beautiful!

Me, my mum and auntie stayed here to celebrate my mum's birthday and it was fab! We booked mainly because of the Spa which is absolutely amazing, particularly the Hydro-pool! We all have some health issues (arthritis/fibromyalgia) and the pool was so nice and warm which helps with pain. Being able to go outside whilst still in the warm water was fab!! We also used the sauna and steam rooms which were great - so clean! We stayed in a family room that could easily sleep 4 people - the beds were so comfortable. We were provided with robes and slippers to go down to the sauna in which was also a lovely touch! We would definitely stay again!

excellent location with great facilities, unfortunate about the room, I'm sure it was just our room. Evening meal in the bar was great, breakfast was also great and staff very courteous. Spa was excellent with the outdoor pool accessed from the inside swimming through to the infinity edge and enjoying the view was outstanding. Cleanliness, the room was very tired, carpet had seen better days. The window and net curtain were black with condensation. Bathroom had only been half cleaned, lots of hair under the toilet seat. The bath silicone that should be white was not, especially under the bath handle and behind the taps.

Returned with friends after staying for business for a conference, mainly because I didn’t get to spend much time in the spa or visit the shops in the cute street behind first time around. Staff on check in kept me waiting a while, chatting amongst themselves but were friendly enough. Bedroom was lovely and spacious , en-suite and WiFi. The breakfast area was busy and had to wait a while but food was lovely. Seemed to be supervisors shouting at staff which I wasn’t keen on.

The staff on the Spa / Leisure club reception area are lovely and welcoming, couldn’t do enough for us. One of the young girls helped me out with recommendations for the cinemas in the town as I am not from the area and recommended some lovely products to purchase from ESPA range. I didn’t book the treatments but will be booking a spa day for me and my friends in the future after they sounded so good. It’s always refreshing to see some good product knowledge.

The jacuzzi and sauna area is lovely and they have a pool that looks outside. It’s a shame that the view to the right is a crane and buildings.
All in all a lovely stay and I will return but if I’m honest I wouldn’t stay if the spa / leisure club was not there as this is for me one of the main reasons for coming.

Plenty of parking and in a lovely setting.
