Good leisure facilities, nice food and nice location. We had a problem with the room but the management did fix it as quickly as they could and offered a room swap. Overall the service was good and the breakfast was excellent.

Brilliant stay. A mix up in the booking was sorted quickly and efficiently with the staff doing an excellent job. The reception staff especially sarah were knowledgeable and helpful, compliments to the chef for amazing food, the puddings are to die for. Breakfast was served in a separate dinning room so the dog could join us and Sarah from the restaurant made sure we were looked after. The rooms were spacious and clean with a nice view of a courtyard. We were at the beginning of the corridor which meant the dog barked a little as people were settling for the night. So will ask for a room a little further away from the main walkway next stay. No noise just collie on high alert. The spa was clean and relaxing, massage by Sam firm and made me feel more relaxed. David was very professional when my daughter had a nose bleed and they squeezed me in for my treatment package even when we booked last minute. Shame the little shops weren't open but it was cold and wet so I can understand why. Lovely walks around the hotel. Will definitely return with the children and dog very soon as we were made to feel very welcome. Would recommend to anyone.

Food excellent. Room in need of an update compared to room stayed in last year. Children should be in family changing rooms in spa. Not a good look when people going into hotel bar for drinks still in their bathrobes and slippers provided.

Recommend to use outdoor part of jacuzzi when it rains or snows.
Plenty of good restaurants nearby.
Roka turkish restaurant does the best birthday songs.
Dog friendly. Plenty of spaces for dogs to explore, no trouble even when weather was poor.

A nice hotel, quirky with uneven floors and character walls. The main hotel has a lot of character and is interesting. There is no lift to first floor so you need to make them aware of any mobility issues. We did not see the other rooms which are not part of the main hotel, but we were told they were very nice.

I’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve visited Last Drop and was pleased this latest stay didn’t disappoint. From our lunch in the tea room to our time and treatments in the spa and then dinner in the evening, the whole stay was superb! The staff were all really friendly and happy to help. We’ll definitely be back again.

A lovely hotel The building is very interesting, a lovely bar, dining room, reception and the courtyard is very pretty with rooms around it as was ours. Our room was lovely, tea coffee, a shortage of a bath towel my only complaint. The bedding was beautiful, a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, fruit, cereal, full English toast juice tea coffee, great black pudding.very welcoming and attentive breakfast room staff. We had a problem in that someone had been sick outside our door!! Not pleasant, I called reception at midnight when we returned to our room, they came out immediately and cleaned it up. Very good speedy customer care. We didn't get 2 towels in the bathroom, as it was only 1 night we didn't make a fuss, we shared. I requested to gain entry to the room 1 hour before check in, I was told I could do this bit it would be at a cost of £20,i thought this was a bit steep. So I didn't do this. On arrival other guests we're telling us they got in their room early at no extra cost!! We we're all going to a wedding in Bolton, I merely wanted to freshen up before hand.. Disappointing.

Had an overnight stay on a groupon deal and to say the least was very pleased. The hotel is lovely and the welcome from the receptionist very pleasant. We had a standard room (59) which was lovely. Very large, clean and nicely located in the main hotel. The leisure facilities, mainly the hydro pool, really really nice. Spent about 2 hours in it. Changing rooms basic, one tiny cubicle which wasn’t brilliant for ladies who like a bit of privacy. Onto breakfast well 10/10. A large variety of food, all kept nice and warm and fresh. The courtyard bar and restaurant were also lovely. We ate in the tea shop, sandwiches a scone which were nice. The courtyard with the little shops is also a really good idea. Will definately return and have already recommended.

My daughter chose this hotel to be her wedding venue. From beginning to end, the hotel staff and wedding coordinators have been superb.
The bedrooms are spacious and very very clean. The beds are exceptionally comfy.
The food was delicious.
The staff are attentive and helpful at all times.
Her wedding was everything she wanted and more.
All her family and friends had an amazing time.. Thankyou for all your hard work.

The room was nice, the leisure facilities superb, and breakfast was just the ticket.

The only downside to our visit was that dinner was not great. Perhaps affected by having had fantastic experiences with eating her before.

I have always loved it here and have visited many, many times. However this trip didn't quite live up to the previous ones. It was very, very cold in our room as the radiator wasn't working. We didn't comlain as we've always enjoyed it so much on other occassions. Apart from that though this a lovely place and very good value for money

Chose LDV for hubby's 60th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary. We had one of the 'cottage' type accommodation at the back and it was lovely. Very spacious, clean and cosy. Only criticism was the shower cubicle plughole must have been blocked as it filled up with water quite clearly. We only booked bed and breakfast but due to the weather that day we decided not to venture out and had a meal in the bar area. Really disappointed with quality of the meals, the chips were awful and hard. We told staff that we weren't happy but were just offered some fries, should have offered a discount on the bill. The meals weren't worth the prices that were charged.
The second night we went to a local pub called The Flag, highly recommend, got 3 course meal, side orders and drinks for £33! The service was great.
We used the spa facilities whilst we were there. The ladies changing room is cramped and lacks privacy, there should be some changing cubicles especially for ladies who are post op, breast cancer etc. Extremely disrespectful young women and young men came into the outdoor pool area with mobile phones, one blasting out music. People are generally there to relax and shouldn't be subject to having to put up with thoughtless , selfish people! I told staff on reception in the spa. There is a sign in the area indicating a ban but obviously some people believe this doesn't apply to them.
Breakfast - a big shout to Isabel who was looking after guests at breakfast. A genuine person who worked hard and spoke to us in a lovely way. Breakfast choices were lovely.
Overall, it is a lovely place but it does need updating in some areas.

Me and my partner got married at The Last Drop Village on Valentines Day and everything was just perfect! The staff were amazing from start to finish and could not do enough for you (as the bride and groom) and for the guests. Jacqueline Tulloch our Wedding Co-ordinator could not have been more helpful. We planned and booked our wedding 2 years in advance and the closer it came Jacqueline double checked everything for us. She was always so helpful at getting back to us straight away and reassured us with whatever we threw at her. I highly recommend The Last Drop Village for weddings, a spa break or a weekend/night away. The rooms are so clean and modern. The complementary bridal suite was beautiful!
