Night Break Nice distancing, friendly staff. Spa was closed, but not a major issue.. Quite a few cobwebs in room and dust on pictures above the bed. Beer in the pub in the courtyard tasted of cleaning fluid.

Exceptional Limited guests and staff, but the staff accommodated my request really quickly for an early breakfast. Nothing

Our stay Property is lovely, we’ve been a few times before and always enjoyed our stay Just one small point about the room was the toilet dripping all night which was quite annoying as I’m a light sleeper, and I understand not being able to use the spa facilities at the moment, I wouldn’t want to with what’s going on but this should maybe be reflected in the stay price? Reduced breakfast menu also that wasn’t advertised before stay, only realised when we went down for breakfast and was never told

First night away since hotels can 're open and staff were obviously well trained and aware of new rules but were friendly and efficient.
Good room in the courtyard with large bathroom with natural light.
Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the plentiful outdoor seating due to the weather but had a good meal in the restaurant. Pleasant bar area with good views.
Recommend the walks leaflet from the hotel although they are not marked and navigation was a little tricky.
Would definitely return

Superb I received a really warm welcome from the staff, having made a last minute booking due to a poor experience at another hotel. They were especially kind to my dog - providing a bed and bowl so I didn't have to unpack my own from my car. The hotel is in a lovely setting with lots of nature walks available straight from the hotel. The room, while comfortable was a little dated and probably needed refreshing or updating. The spa facilities were a little disappointing - some of the facilities weren't working, broken handrails etc and only a minute cubicle to be able to change in privacy.

A great stay. Friendly staff and good food. But unfortunately I was overcharged for an additional night as I booked it directly through the hotel. Make sure you book through Booking.com or another third party to ensure you pay 10% less on the room rates.

Hotel and Staff provided a restful stay during unprecedented times.
Look forward to staying again and enjoying the facilities.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 All facilities were unavailable as you’d expect. Therefore I’ve been unable to comment. That said the room was lovely and had what you’d expect in an executive room.
Breakfast was served in the room due to COVID-19 but was pleasant and still hot when it arrived.

Fabulous Stayed here before and needed a stop off on our way back home. Lovely staff and lovely location, even with all the Covid19 madness the atmosphere was lovely with just a few people staying chatting at a distance. The restaurant meal we had was not the best to say the least, wished we had just ate in the bar area.

In the midst of all the coronavirus mayhem, we decided to go ahead with a planned get away with the family. It proved to be the best decision and we had a fab time. We had an overnight stay in The Last Drop Village & Spa Hotel. We felt so much more safer there than simply carrying on with our normal day to day life back home amongst the craziness of shops packed out with panic buyers and the non-stop talking about the virus.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the spa was very calming, exactly what we needed. We have stayed here numerous times however my previous visits was when I was a meat eater (vegan since Jan 2020) so thinking through food options was not something I had to consider before.

Now what about the food? At the hotel, they cater really well for vegans with a separate vegan menu in the restaurant (picture attached). I also had a vegan millionaires shortbread (yum) great if you’re after a sweet treat. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have a separate vegan menu offering multiple choices for all 3 courses (check out the pictures). I’m used to scanning a menu looking for the 1 or 2 choices available mixed in with all the non-vegan options.

I started with soup of the day (home made tomato soup) served with very fresh artisan bread (picture taken after I’d started eating it). The soup was bursting with flavour and very tasty. My main dish was masala roasted cauliflower steak served with sag aloo, crispy onions & coconut & mint dressing. This was just fantastic!! Presentation was perfect, the flavour combinations were perfect, the portion size was perfect, basically a perfect dish. Finally my dessert was a dark chocolate & coconut torte served with seasonal berry compote. WOW what a taste sensation, especially for a chocohollic!! Again presentation was very good (although the picture was taken after I’d already dived in) and needless to say, it didn’t take me long to devour it. Even the meat eaters of my family tasted each one of my dishes and all agreed the food was delicious!

Next morning I had a cooked breakfast including hash brown, sausage & mushrooms (I declined baked beans as I don’t like them) with toast & vegan spread followed by a bowl of fresh fruit. Really enjoyable.

To have a separate vegan menu with multiple choices for each course is not that common sadly and particularly less common in a hotel (in my experience) however this hotel have gone above and beyond to not only cater for vegans (and other dietary requirements), but they have made the experience of eating out ‘normal’ and backed it up with delicious food. Top marks to the hotel. If you’re after a perfect retreat to rejuvenate at any time, I would highly recommend experiencing the hospitality of the Last Drop Hotel Village & Spa.

Finally, I have to mention the amazing staff who work at the hotel & spa. I have stayed there on numerous occasions and from booking a room to the reception, bar, restaurant and spa staff to the management team who are always visible throughout the hotel, they are the most friendliest, helpful and professional staff I have ever encountered in hospitality. It’s the treatment of their guests that just puts the icing in the cake for a perfect experience. I always leave feeling like it was important to them that I had a good time and that I had been looked after really well. Nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure your stay is perfect. Special mention to Anna on reception, Franco in the restaurant and Claire Smith (manager) who were brilliant throughout our stay.

We will definitely be back again soon 😀

Overall a nice stay... spa and gym great. One slight dissappointment is the restaurant menu. It's a bit limited. Food is ok, nothing special. But the location is excellent.

Great place, friendly staff a place we would return to. We have been a few times and plan to take the children for Easter. The location is lovely, deceiving from the outside. Facilities are great. This is a place we have recommended to others

My weekend nightmare started Thursday evening with mixed information on flights and hotel to Prague on the Friday morning. Obviously, this got cancelled due to the coronavirus and lockdown in Czechoslovakia. Thank goodness for the Last Drop Village to my rescue and a super break. All the staff are lovely and from contacting the reservations team at 9am Friday morning with my disappointment and telling them my predicament they were more than obliging and said arrive whenever the room is ready you don't have to wait for the usual 2pm check in rule. Again, reception could not do enough for us I asked to be moved straight away as next door to a 21st Birthday Party and wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend with my friend as this should of been my 50th Birthday treat. Special mention to John behind the bar and Franco in the restaurant who were so attentive. Can't say enough about the place as I booked my parents in January for the staycation package for their anniversary. Food is excellent same as the leisure facilities. The hydrotherapy pool is out of this world and I could of stayed there and the steam rooms all day! Will definitely be booking again as a fantastic hotel and staff. A massive thank you for a wonderful stay Helen and Mandy.

Really loved the experience here, literally is a little village. Spa is fantastic, rooms are spacious and clean, the bar is absolutely brilliant too, was able to enjoy drinking until the early hours. John who runs the bar is an absolute gent, very polite and seems to adore his job! 10/10!
