Booked Last Drop Village Spa as attending a wedding nearby. I called the hotel to book direct as I wanted to request an early check in due to attending a wedding. When I said where the wedding was, I was told I’d get 10% off breakfast as they had a deal with the wedding venue, however, the price was still cheaper with booking.com and included breakfast so I opted to book through them. I was told to call the day before to request early check in and they said they would try their best to accommodate. We arrived at 1pm so only and hour early and after waiting nearly 15 minutes to be dealt with, I was told I had booked room only so would have to pay for breakfast. I told them my booking had stated “breakfast included” but they insisted I was room only and demanded to see my confirmation. After much discussion between staff members and scrolling though my email, they announced that this had happened a few times before and agreed that my booking did include breakfast. Well thank goodness for that…only to be told our room wasn’t ready but if we wanted to get changed for the wedding we could use the disabled toilet! I declined! The previous party of 4 had already gone to their room so obviously some rooms were ready. After more discussions, they found us a room but when we got there and were just about to get changed, housekeeping arrived and said they needed to change the bed so we had to vacate the room for 10 minutes. Next morning we were questioned again as to whether the breakfast was paid for!
An absolute shambles with extremely unhelpful and awkward staff.
That said, the room was nice albeit extremely hot and the bed was not made into a twin as requested

We came here for my mums birthday for the spa day with afternoon tea and the whole experience was wonderful. Even from booking on the phone all the staff were so lovely and really welcoming and understanding. The facilities were great, really relaxing but Paula Croft doing our treatments was incredible! My sister went first and came down raving about how lovely she was, then my mum went and was absolutely spoiled. Paula made us all feel so special, the treatments were so relaxing and she’s so clever tailoring our facial to what we needed. Can’t speak highly enough of her thank you ❤️

After travelling over 250 miles on particularly busy motorways the Last Drop is a haven of relaxation and a place to recharge the batteries. The hotel staff are excellent, friendly and eager to serve. The hotel is well appointed in a very convenient location with countryside walks adjacent to the grounds of the hotel. The bedrooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. I would recommend a visit to this well operated venue.

This was the first leg of my spa tour. Slight disappointment that not all of the spa facilities were working salt sauna, out of order. Apart from that this hotel doesn’t disappoint, the staff are friendly and it is a great location.

Hosted a family party for 18. Our lead host, Franco was outstanding and his team equally attentive and proactive meaning we could get on with enjoying the celebration without a second thought as every requirement was dealt with well before we’d even thought of it! Outstanding service and a great value venue - a very rare combination.

My friend and I went here last month for a spa and afternoon package. We used the gym first which was well equipped for what we wanted. I had a fantastic massage and facial from Sam, she knew her stuff and was friendly recommending products for my skin, I left feeling very relaxed! We then used the various different saunas and hydro pool which relaxed us further. Afternoon tea was nice and they accommodated my dietary requirements no problem but an extra sandwich or two wouldn’t have gone a miss tho and later we sat out on the deck with a glass of wine. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be going back, I need another massage from Sam!

The Staff: The staff were fantastic, very friendly and accommodating.
The Spa: The spa and treatments were really good although it seems after talking to my mum we received different facials despite booking the same treatment. The facilities are good although it’s a shame the infinity pool overlooks the car park and some houses and one of the thermal rooms was out of order.
The Place: The grounds are beautiful and the little shops are really cute. It’s a shame the tea shop wasn’t open as we were looking forward to visiting that.
The Room: The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom finished to a high standard however the rooms could do with an update. The carpets were quite tired looking and finishes like the seals on the windows, and plastic wrapping on the wardrobe were messy. The room was very hot so we struggled to get a good nights sleep even with the window open so a desk fan or air con wouldn’t go a miss. We also got woken up on Saturday evening with other guests shouting and singing until 3am
The Food: We had a meal in the restaurant on Friday evening and that was delicious, as was breakfast with lots of options to choose from however afternoon tea was a little disappointing. For the price of £17.95 each, the sandwiches weren’t luxury fillings just basic ham, egg and cheese. And the cakes weren’t very exiting either my mum didn’t eat two of hers as she didn’t enjoy them.
Overall I would recommend however it is a bit pricey for what you get!

The Resort is very nice, the facilities good and the Pub we had a meal in was also good. However our Room in the Courtyard was not up to standard, with clothes from a previous guest left in the Wardrobe and the general cleanliness of the room below average, possibly due to the staff not being more diligent whilst cleaning it

We stayed at the Village Hotel in Cosham. Possibly the smallest hotel room we have ever had! Nowhere to put clothes that don’t hang and our case had to go in front of the door or on the bed - so not ideal for the 2 night stay we had planned. Absolutely hated the bathroom - whilst there was a courtesy button that obscured two of the three panes of glass - felt very exposed - not nice! On the plus side, we had two very good nights sleep. Breakfast was passable and the price was fairly good for high season.

Beautiful historic property skillfully renovated with modern style facilities while keeping its caricaturists. Staff and service are exceptionally good. The delicious food promptly served everyday and they even provided a full cooked breakfast for takeaway each morning free of charge.

A nice experience but very very extortionate prices behind the bars. for drink and food. Rooms a little dated could do with an upgrade.

We got married at the last drop last weekend and I just want to say liz & the team were amazing how they looked after us. Liz is so down to earth and such a lovely lady with a good sense of humour. She looked after us and made sure we had the best day even though the intense heat was getting to all of us it never phased her. Also a big shout out to Nasser our master of ceremony he was so lovey & friendly as was everyone who served our wedding breakfast. The place itself is so idyllic and just a beautiful setting for wedding photos. Loved every minute of our big day
