We stayed for one night. The staff were accommodating as ever and the kids loved swimming in the pool. There was a problem with a water pump pr something that made a loud noise in our room and kept us awake but the staff did all they could to resolve the problem. We were given a fair discount and were happy in the circumstances. This was an unusual problem. We're always happy to stay at this hotel and it's much more human and caring about its customers than the large chains.

Super service, facilities and value for money. We had a lovely stay, all the staff were friendly and professional, we particularly enjoyed the spa facilities. The bedroom was spacious and spotless and breakfast was delicious. There was nothing we didn’t like, will definitely recommend and come back again.

Very friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Rooms are comfortable. Food in the restaurant very nice for evening meal. Had a special offer on, 2 courses for £18. Very good value. Breakfast was also nice and plenty to eat. The pool and hydro were lovely and clean. Nice walks in the surrounding area. We walked to the Jumbles country park. We'll worth a visit for its views of the reservoir. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Expected more after reading the reviews. This themed complex has a lovely setting and facilities, but the older rooms are unacceptably worn out, unhygienic and appear to be maintained by cowboy tradesmen - especially the bathrooms, yuck! Staff were very helpful though and after two room moves was given what they described as a free ‘upgrade’ to a clean room, with comfortable bed, linen and a modern shower room (see pic). There appears to be lots of new extensions being built, but they would be wise to spend a portion of that money on renovating some of the existing rooms.

Unexpected Quality You usually think you get what you pay for but in this case you get way more than what you pay for. The price you pay for a room and it includes the SPA is unbelievable. The staff are always smiling and are happy to help and actually get to know you and speak to you aswell as their knowledge of what they sell. I asked the barman to suggest me a drink and after talking he suggested a WU WU (if that’s how you spell it). The dining staff suggested food that they have tried and every interaction with staff was pleasant and informative they could not do enough for you. The management was always visible making sure that everyone was adhering to social distancing but was very pleasant and always working and making sure you are ok. Even when smiling and laughing they walked over and asked if there is anything else they can do. The only thing I did not like but cannot is that the time in the pool and thermal suite is limited but that is to ensure all guests have enough time.

Happy customers! The property was beautifully maintained and well kept. It was clean and tidy every where. We ate in the bar area on Thursday evening and the meal was delicious! All of the staff were great, but John and Stuart were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much for them. They stood chatting to us and were very attentive but not imposingly. The sticky toffee pudding was AMAZING!!!!!!! The choices on the breakfast menu were great. Given that we stayed so close to lockdown easing, the measures the hotel have taken left us feeling really safe and at ease and we would absolutely stay here again. The pillows were really uncomfortable. Too hard. I was disappointed with the breakfast on both days; the first day, my poached egg was overpowered by the taste of vinegar and on the second day, all the food was cold. Having said that, as soon as I told the staff, they were very apologetic and quickly rectified the issues.

Last minute stay Good location great spa Only complaint is there was someone else’s half finished breakfast on a tray directly outside the room door from when we arrived until the next morning

Good Beautiful location Apart from being woken up in the night with couples fighting outside and screaming and shouting was very scary, the police should have been rang !! Was given a complementary breakfast for my inconvenience

Superb Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very good systems in place to keep everyone safe. Everywhere was constantly being cleaned by staff. Lovely room and comfy bed. Breakfast delicious.0 Not all facilities open but this is due to covid restrictions rather than the hotel.

Excellent stay although sleeping was difficult due to the heat! Room was lovely although very very hot. Bar areas and grounds very nice and well kept. The lack of air conditioning or at very least a fan in such hot weather meant it was difficult to sleep especially with the restriction on the window openings. I appreciate the hotel can't cater for such freakishly hot weather but fans are relatively inexpensive and would help for such occasions.

I stayed with my partner Brent at the hotel for 1 night as part of a long week visiting his parents near Manchester and I could have not been more delighted of the stay.
We arrived after lunch and it was a stunning day, so we booked the spa to enjoy a bath in the sunshine. When we entered the room I was stunned by the details of care put in our room. Freshly cut fruits was awaiting, a beautiful chocolate from Lily O’Briens (which I didn’t know and I’m now a fan of) and a bottle of chilled champagne. I felt like on honeymoon! Thank you Last Drop Hotel! You made my day.

Lacks attention to detail. Staff need more training. Breakfast below par. Nice big rooms, especially for families. Very nice venue with on site spa. Good sized parking spaces. We got charged more for our second night for the same room. First night we had bottled water, hand creams and extra towels in the room. Second night nothing, even though we paid more for second night. The shampoo bottles are not fit for use. Hard plastic, so you can't get content out of bottles. Shampoo itself dries out skin. Unpleasant hallway smells need to be taken care of. Outdated hallway carpets could be the cause of the smells.

Very nice hotel, restaurant needs updating as it has the feel of a 1960s hall so looks a bit bland Breakfast was really nice, I have stayed here before to attend a wedding reception One pillow on the bed is not enough, I have stayed in Amy hostels which have a pillow menu or spare pillows in the wardrobe
