The very special and long awaited wedding for Lauren, our daughter, and Steven took place last weekend. The hotel staff did a fantastic job, making sure that everything was put into place ready for the wedding ceremony and it looked amazing. There was a definite “Wow Factor” for everyone who was there. It’s here that we need to say thank you to Diana and Libby in recognition of their hard work in ensuring that all the wedding arrangements went to plan. In addition we now need to say an additional thank you to all the staff at the hotel who looked after us all during the weekend. They all worked so hard and fully deserve the thanks from all those who were there.
The only real disappointment was the guy doing the evenings disco music. Even though he said he would welcome and play any and all music requests it didn’t really go to plan. Granted he
played a very limited number of requests but the vast majority of his choices centred around clubhouse music and when asked for a change he was quite dismissive. Result was he lost his audience.
So all in all, a fantastic wedding venue and a great weekend.

Good size, rooms, friendly staff. As far as restaurant is concerned the food was good with sensible prices but I was waiting over an hour to get my dinner and wouldn't say it was very busy. Would I go to this hotel and use restaurant again - definitely yes.

Great staff, clean, good breakfast, disabled parking too small no dropped kerbs. Disappointed that air-con not working throughout the hotel during the hottest summer on record!

Pleasant
Breakfast was really good. Plenty of choice. Hot and cold food.
Our room. I couldn't sleep. There was a noise all night long that sounded an air conditioner constantly running

Great stay but noisy
The hotel was nice, check in was smooth as well as check out and our stay was pleasant as I had just driven from the north of Scotland heading to London decided to make a pit stop in between so with that in mind I was very shattered and the bedding was comfortable for our stay.
There was an event on during our stay so we experienced a very noisy corridor during the late hours of the night into the morning which was a bit disturbing. Could have considered putting us on a different floor before giving us our room. And as we had driven a long way it was a bit of disappointment.

Superb
The location was perfect, shops close by, night life in town excellent, there was a wedding reception held on both Saturday and Sunday evenings , we heard very little noise from the reception room ....
The room was exceptionally hot, the window would only open a fraction and although the room had been cosmetically upgraded the air-con was either broken or disconnected
