Lovely clean hotel with comfortable beds, only downside, the carpark is small and difficult to park.

Noisy cleaning staff in the mornings even though I had the do not disturb sign on my door, or as they call it the enjoying the moment . In other words be quiet. they slammed the doors so hard my window shook.

restaurant could do with being heated.

too many drunks from a wedding party swearing their heads off.

The rooms are nice and the service is good too. It would be nicer if the parking were included in the room fee, and the breakfast is a little pricey. All in all though, not a bad place to stay, but they could really do with changing the entrance. When we turned up, a clown had parked in the covered area in front of the entrance, despite double yellow lines. We waited behind another car who was getting just as peeved as us by the Mercedes driving clown, and this car stopped access to the underground parking. The clown came out, slowly got into his car, went nowhere despite seeing two cars waiting, then got out and went back into the hotel. Someone from the hotel came out to try and resolve the situation, and got us to weave our way through the silly maze of kerbing to get access to the outside parking area, and as we did this, the clown made a reappearance. Anyway, all this silly kerbing should be removed to allow direct access to both parking areas.

I visited the Holiday Inn in Bolton to deliver a two day training course in their excellent training rooms.
All the staff (the events staff Hannah and Sophie are brilliant) are super helpful and friendly and the layout of the training room, with delegate stationary, water etc is spot on.
Lunch was great with lots of good quality food on offer and all delegates were happy.
The only negative was the temperature of the training room as the day moved on as there was no air conditioning in the room we were in.
I also stayed in the hotel and again, the rooms and service in the restaurant is excellent.
The hotel is easy to access via major roads and car parking is underneath the hotel and validated with screens in main reception.

Convenient, with friendly Staff. The option of a Continental breakfast would be appreciated. Convenient for Bolton Town centre, and for my son to collect me. The window of Room 129 was partly blocked by a unit outside, making the room dark. The room was not cleaned on the 7th. March, the mugs not washed, and the towels changed. The shower drain was sluggish, but was cleaned, following my complaint.

Pleasant The staff were really friendly and did everything they could for you, made you feel very welcome. The bedroom was lovely and very comfortable. We just threw our bag in the room because we were meeting family so didn't take much notice of the room. The morning after i always check under the bed to see if we've left anything, I found a £1.20 under the bed which I know wasn't ours and found a receipt under the bed. I thought it might have been ours so retrieved it and to my shock it was a McDonald's receipt from the 21st Feb so wasn't happy at all obviously it wasn't cleaned for a long time. We just had breakfast which was not as good in our opinion from many years using the hotel, but it was adequate. We think using your hotel we shouldn't have to pay for parking but that's our opinion.

Staff super friendly and helpful, from reception, cleaners, and breakfast staff, all excellent. Accessible room number 223 is a full corridor length away from the lift which was a strange decision - my husband having to walk a marathon to reach it! I would have expected it much nearer the lift.
2 bays directly outside the hotel front door for disabled parking were useful, when occupied we parked underground beneath the hotel, quite spacious once down the narrow slope. Pity the pigeons living in the rafters decided to decorate my car with poop!
