On arrival checking in was friendly and efficient, our room was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. They provided excellent service both at evening meal and breakfast. Checking out was equally efficient. Staff were professional and friendly.

Very central rooms were comfortable and very functional. Just do not be late down for breakfast as it tends to dry out and not be replenished.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner to visit my brother who moved to Bolton last year for Uni. Arrived at 7.30pm on the Friday night, greeted warmly by reception staff and told we were 'guests of the day' and had received a free room upgrade and complimentary drinks! What a lovely surprise as the room had a huge comfy super king bed and not just biscuits but a twirl chocolate bar š. Also bottled water, tea and coffee. Shower was large and had great water pressure. Rooms clean and all the cleaning staff lovely... always asked if we needed anything. Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Overall every member of staff that we came across was friendly and nice, and would definitely come back here again, keep up the good work and thank you for a great time!

Work site visit in Bolton, first time to the city / townā¦. Hotel was easy to find, car parking on site two options one underground (pretty tight spaces) one above the entrance.
Room was a refurbished room, bathroom clean but remarkably small as in you had no chance of your bigger than a 36āwaste between the door and vanity unit!!!
Shower was hot and strong, the bed was comfortable and all clean so overall ok.
The not so great bits and hence a three not a four star,
Bar area, cold most drinks not available and the only draft larger is Stella (not for me) ordered a cider with ice, then to be told no iceā¦.. really??
Restaurant, itās a big open area, be mindful of you sit near the windows itās cold, or it was when I stayed on the 20th April, the food was mediocre, almost too cooked but given itās a limited menu, itās what you get, chicken wings where tasty, not convinced on the spicy sauce that was added, fish and chips for the main, fish had clearly drowned in the fat / fryer it was cooked inā¦.š£
If itās a cheap hotel in Bolton your looking for then give it a try, if you want to try and show off to someone, try elsewhereā¦.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Catered for vegan daughter and my partner who has to have gluten free diet. Enjoyed the power shower! Thanks for the great choice of breakfast as well.

Hotel was like a ghost town to the point staff didn't believe someone (me) was stood at the bar waiting till they saw me. Really nice looking hotel rooms are spacious and clean staff are down to earth only 2 little niggles is there wasn't breakfast included and all the pillows in the room felt like they was made of wood

Exceptional service from being checked in to checking out, lovely helpful staff, the room was bright and clean and had a fridge, safe, iron, ironing board and hair dryer as well as plenty of plug 13 amp sockets with USB sockets, lovely shower with toiletries included, I had and evening meal in the restaurant which was really tasty and value for money and I had a really nice buffet breakfast which I prefer because you can pick and choose what you want, I travel a lot and Holiday Inn is my favourite

Lovely stay, but the car park was rather awkward. The bays were small despite parking with a tiny car.
If you're using the underground car park, be sure to plan your journey well. If you happen to leave when the delivery comes, you'd have to wait for the staff to finish loading and unloading as the truck was blocking the exit.

Arrived on a coach tour that added all the complications of 100+ people turning up at the same time but the staff handled it very well. The evening meal was a task but we were given out drinks vouchers (without prompting) when there was a small pause

Our second stay here and just wanted to shout out Tony at the bar who is an absolute star! Genuine service and such a pleasant person to chat to. Absolutely would come here just for drinks to enjoy the atmosphere he creates :)
