Good nights Sleep rooms wells laid out Service of front seat and housekeeping was excellent. Worst point of the whole stay is the breakfast! was absolutely the worst I've experienced unfortunately, Holiday Inn still have these stupidly small plates for breakfast where branches of Travelodge + premier Inn don't! Next up is the food the selection was very very poor and tasteless, I love black pudding but this was one of the worst I've had couldn't actually eat it, the egg beans and sausages just tasted of nothing the pastry's seemed good although not what I'd normally have for breakfast personally, coffee machine was broken which ment no cappuccino instead it was filtered coffee available, it was so bad that even though I had paid for the breakfasts for 3 days I only ate on day 1 and never again if it was a budget chain I might have forgiven however the Travelodge and premier Inn really does feel like they are in a different league as their breakfasts have always been delicious with a much greater selection.

loved the hotel. staff so pleasant even though struggling to keep in top of things in the restaurant.
the property was convenient and nice rooms the staff were really nice and helpful we felt sorry for the guy in the restaurant all food was empty at breakfast and he was struggling to cope he tried his very best and was lovely to everyone. such a shame he said they were short staffed

At check-in found out Breakfast not included in my booking again this has happen many times with bookings.com so Manager stepped in and gave us complimentary breakfasts they should put "Does NOT Include Breakfast on your booking save the hassle at check-in.

A welcoming, friendly and relaxed stay. We felt very comfortable and will be back.
Shared a twin room with my sister. Beds very comfortable. Saturday and Sunday nights of our stay were quiet and peaceful Choice of shower heads, and lovely hot water, bathroom very clean. Breakfast had good menu choices, staff very helpful all round and with dietary gluten and dairy free requirements. The reception staff, especially Chelsea and the young man who only works at weekends, who we saw most of, were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. We had an altogether pleasant stay and will be back next time our family gathers in Bolton. Thank you.

Excellent stay in Bolton
Very comfortable room and big bed with lovely soft pillows. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot food and pastries. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly We would definitely stay again when visiting the Octagon theatre in Bolton.

Comfortable room, wonderful staff, would like a toilet brush
The staff were amazingly friendly and efficient. From check in, having breakfast and the staff in the corridors they were all lovely. The bed was comfy and the room a good size.
The shower door didn’t work and had come off it’s hinges. The toilet design is bad and poo is left on the bowl, there is no brush to clean it and I was aware of it.

This was booked at the last minute for a business trip.. It wasn't what I was expecting. I did not think a Holiday Inn would be good, but I was pleasantly surprised! The room was a family room with a large king bed and an L shaped sofa. The room was clean, as was the bathroom and the hotel in general. One thing that was disappointing is that they couldn't provide a full service for certain things at night, such as making up the sofa bed? I wasn't so happy about that.
The highlight of the entire stay was the Dipak, the Maitre de of the restaurant area. He is literally one of the nicest, most hospitable individuals I have ever come across in the service industry. I've stayed in hotels that assign you personal butlers during your stay, and seriously, he would rival them with his hospitality. He went literally above and beyond. I watched him as I thought perhaps he was only being like that with us. But my God, no! He treats everyone with the same courtesy. I was genuinely taken aback by how hospitable he was. He really deserves a raise. We tried to find him to tip him, but when we asked at the reception, he had gone somewhere. Holiday Inn, you're lucky to have him.

Was more expensive than expected, the bathroom is quite small, one person at a time. The shower lacks the pressure you would expect. Rooms are reasonably well appointed, however chair was stained, heating difficult to control and noisey outside if you open the window.
Staff were nice but:
1. Long wait to check in
2. Got to the room on 4th floor and the key didn't work
3. Once I got into the room I was getting ready to go out and a random guy walked in. Seems he was given the same room.
