The hotel was clean, well staffed and professional, although the parking was confusing and it was like a maze inside.

Nice bedroom and bed. The bathroom is a little on the small side but not a problem.
I was worried the window wouldn't open after reading what others said, but it was fine (openable).
Secure underground parking was the reason I stayed here. I'm on a motorcycle, so the security was important. Overall, it was a great stay.

All good, I will visit again if I'm ever in need of accomodation in Bolton. Nice room, small bathroom but no big deal. I was worried the window wouldn't be openable from other reviews, but it was fine, could open and close all I wished. The underground parking was a bonus as I was on a motorcycle and always fear thieves.

We parked up in the underground carpark beneath the hotel has usual
To the lift to the reception to sign in
On arrival they noticed i had my arm in a sling & that i was walking awkwardly
The said we can change you to an Accessible room which will be better for me
They gave me the key & told me to check it out & said if your not happy we will change you back to the original room
It was great and made my stay so much more pleasant
All the staff are so very helpful & go out of their way to make your stay feel like a 6star stay
The breakfast is 10/10 & something for everyone
The hotel & rooms are spotless
We will definitely keep coming back
We done to all the staff 10/10

A standard Holiday Inn hotel with all the expected facilities The same and expected standard for a good 3 star hotel Cleaning staff could be a bit more welcoming, not ignoring the guests when they walk past

Very nice hotel, typical Holiday Inn/IHG town centre. Easy car parking, pleasant entrance and friendly staff. Totally let down by my room! I have been an IHG Gold Ambassador for many years and used their hotels all over the world but I won't be staying here again! No reward at all for many years of loyalty to the group.
The shower is excellent but the shower room is so small I had to go in sideways (see photo) and it is impossible to dry oneself! The view from the window was totally obscured by what appeared to be massive aircon units (see photo) making the room so dark you have to put on the light even during the day. To top off the stay, the room, 131, was the farthest bar one from reception and a long walk from the lifts.
Ultimately, I thank Holiday Inn Bolton for removing the pressure to stay at IHG hotels and I will now feel totally able to stay at a greater variety . . . For information in the Autumn I will be travelling to Bucharest twice, Solihull, Rochdale and Sheffield and look forward to the "freedom" to choose my hotels on a different basis from brand loyalty 😁

Enjoyed my stay here
The hotel was well ran, the food was nice and the service was good.
Location very good and five min walk into Bolton where all the bars and pubs are
Breakfast was slightly disappointing but not too bad.

Nice hotel and I'd stay again despite a couple of minor niggles. Great location, 5 mins walk from shops and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking in garage underneath is decent, but sometimes busy. Only a couple of minor issues - the basin in our bathroom was almost entirely blocked and took about 5 minutes to drain. I reported this and it was swiftly fixed. On our first morning there, they had no hot food 'due to unforeseen circumstances'. Not a huge deal, but I had been encourage to prepay for breakfast the night before, and paid £12 per person for choice of continental or cooked. But continental breakfast only is actually £10, so my prepayment was actually a bad deal on that day! The cooked breakfast the following day, however, was delicious.
