Very tidy room, and all the staff and friendly and helpful. Just a couple of minor issues stopped it getting 5 stars. Our basin in the room was almost entirely blocked, and took about 5 minutes to drain. I mentioned it to reception, and it was very quickly remedied. Also, 'due to unforeseen circumstances' there was no hot breakfast on the first day of our stay. Minor inconvenience, but I had pre-paid for a hot breakfast that I was unable to have. If staff had proactively offered me a refund of the difference, or some alternative, that would have been nice. Otherwise, I was happy with my stay, and would stay again.

Holiday inn offer a certian quality and they deliver. Sadly they have the card light system and i left a card in my room d'oh, ovrall the staff were very accomodating of me as i needed some assistantance due to injury. If i need to come back to bolton/greater Manchester this hotel will be on my radar.

We stayed for 4 nights prior to attending a wedding. All staff were very pleasant and friendly.Plenty of parking both outside and underground. Would recommend

Car parking and entry/exit into and out of hotel after parking the car. Car park is somewhat cramped because of the type of building structure and its pillars. Room key should be made to gain entry into hotel from Car park.
