Fantastic place, we had a lovely day. Down sides -jacuzzi is attached to the pool so not a hot jacuzzi and the lunch provided was set with a guacamole wrap and gluten free chocolate brownie, we were able to swap the wrap as despise guacamole but the brownie was quite dry. We would suggest giving customers the choice of a wrap and dessert.Also serve it on a plate not from a box.

Had a wonderful spa day here. First time ever to experience a back neck and shoulder massage genuinely recommend. The ladies and all staff at this hotel were polite friendly and professional.
Did experience a few cold drafty areas in the hotel mainly the bar area and walking to the room but it did not spoil the time spent there .
Had a 3 course evening meal which I could not fault it was delish and served promptly.
Breakfast had quite a varied choice also and again I couldn't fault . All in all a nice pleasant relaxing experience.

Had a recent Xmas do here. I was impressed. The hotel is lovely. Has a clear vintage style, which kind of result in very dated rooms, but for the most part this works. Cleanest lobby toilets I've seen. And overall the rest of the facilities are top notch. Spa looked good but unfortunately did not have time to use. Breakfast was a solid Full-English buffet x continental (top marks here). Had a blast, would return again.

Had our work Christmas party here. Nice room, great staff, basic food but well served. DJ was average, party games were naff. Overpriced average quality beer and spirits. Over a fiver for bombay sapphire and Schweppes. House wine average at best

Not enough parking space for the many conference meetings they cater for. Otherwise the Hotel is a beautiful building with good size suites to hold each meeting in , and more importantly the staff are great . Note this is just after visiting for a conference only.

A rabbit warren of a place so difficult trying to find rooms & facilities. Gorgeous old world building that doesn't lend itself well to modern amenities. Lots of steps, heavy doors & winding routes. Food mediocre. Rooms superficially nice but underlying decay. Showers inconsistent in delivering hot water. Limited sockets in room. WiFi poor. Staff excellent, friendly & helpful. I would go again as the architecture, occasion & staff made up for the shortfalls.
