Paper VAT returns are about to become a thing of the past and from this spring you will only be able to submit your VAT return digitally and online.
This has been the case for some time already but only for those businesses who are newly registered or those who have a turnover of more than £100,000 but this is now being rolled out to include all businesses. The businesses will need to submit their VAT return online and also set up to pay electronically too.
