Things to keep everybody occupied this half term!

Half term is upon us again, but with Thebestof Barnstaple you will never be short on ideas to keep the whole family happy!

It's that time of the year again folks! Dark nights and dark mornings to follow, bringing about an end to Daylight Savings Time or British Summer Time! On the plus side, Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas are around the corner!

Firework events around Barnstaple and North Devon!

In Great Britain, Bonfire Night is associated with the tradition of Guy Fawkes' Night. The modern event is held annually on or near 5 November, although its sectarian significance has been lost: it is now simply a night of revelry and fireworks.

Halloween, also known as All Hallows' Eve is a yearly celebration observed in countries on October 31, the eve of the Christian feast of All Hallows or the time of the year to remember the dead, including saints and all the faithful departed believers.
