Running a community or not-for-profit group can take a lot of energy to run, its even hardwer work if you are short if funds. Here are 3 sources of small grants but act fast to get your application considered.

Community Councillor Grants – North Devon Council – Deadline 31 January 2016

Councillor Grants are available to voluntary and community groups and not for profit organisations, for projects and services that benefit the residents of North Devon District Council area. North Devon Communities Fund – Deadline 31 January 2016 There is still some funding available for the North Devon Communities Fund, for projects and services that benefit residents of two or more parishes in North Devon. Fullabrook Community Interest Company Are able to offer grants for the benefit of the local community around the Fullabrook Wind Farm. There are 3 grant levels available: Very Small Grants for up to £250 – intended for use as seed funding to get a small project or group started Small Grants up to £1000 – can be given for small projects or items of expenditure Full Grants over £1,000 –More detail will be needed to support your application, for which you will also need to supply a copy of your accounts, and constitution The CIC would like to support projects that benefit local residents, in particular but not exclusively within a 5 kilometre radius of any turbine constructed as part of the Fullabrook Wind Farm within the parishes of West Down, Bittadon, Heanton Punchardon, Braunton, Berrynarbor, Ilfracombe, Marwood, Mortehoe, Georgeham, Ashford, West Pilton, Shirwell, and East Down. http://www.fullabrook-cic.org
