Applications are now being sought from young people for courses in the summer of 2016. Closing date for applications is 11th April 2016

The Sir Francis Chichester Trust offers young people from Devon who are aged between 16 and 19 the opportunity to attend a 19 day Outward Bound Skills for Life Award course based in Wales, Scotland or the Lake District.

Set yourself up with the skills and confidence to tackle your next big step in life. With the support of the Sir Francis Chichester Trust, you could take part in a life-changing Outward Bound Skills for Life Award to get you where you want to be. If you know a young person who could benefits from this type of course, please encourage them to apply.

Thanks to donors, the successful applicants will have the cost of the course covered 100% by the Sir Francis Chichester Trust* With a place on the course usually costing up to £1,949, this is a truly unique opportunity not to be missed.

Who should apply?

Young people living in Devon aged 16-19 at the time of the course
Those who have had few opportunities of this kind and have not attended an Outward Bound course previously
Young people who lack confidence or would benefit from time away from their current circumstances
