Voluntary and Community Groups are often at the heart of our communities, and add great value to life in North Devon, so the Community Councillor Grants Scheme from North Devon Council exists to offer a way for us to help support these groups and the local Community.
Each of our District Councillors is allocated £1,000 per year and grants may be offered to support the running costs of a local organisation or toward a project providing services to the Community, toward a new facility or re-furbishing an existing one, toward the costs of an event, or for environmental or open space community projects.
The fund is now open, and the last date for receipt of applications is 31st January 2017. Applications can be downloaded from the website at:
