The annual 361 Energy Fair is a free event now in its third year, and it offers the public the chance to browse a variety of stands, covering renewable energy, energy saving technologies, low carbon transport, environment, conservation and sustainability.
From the latest electric vehicles to household energy saving advice and tips from local experts, the Fair which will be held between 10am and 4pm gives the whole family the opportunity to learn and discover a number of new ideas and technologies as well as how to save money on fuel bills and reducing carbon footprints.
Educational activities for kids and a host of environmental organisations to inspire old and young alike, as well as food stalls and live music, complete the line-up. "We are thrilled to have some new exhibitors and a range of very interesting activities this year” comments Paul Rogers, Director of 361 Energy CIC.
“The Repair IT project allows people to bring small electrical items to the fair to be repaired; The WOW Scrapstore will be keeping children occupied with their recycling playtime; Courage Copse Creatives will be making paint and artwork using charcoal; and of course we’ll have our very own Energy Bike to tests people’s stamina for keeping the lights on," continues Paul. “For the adults, the BMW i8 plug in hybrid sports car is sure to be a big attraction.”
The Energy Fair is organised by local award winning social enterprise 361 Energy CIC and its volunteers, and is sponsored this year by CosyHome Company.
