You have 21 days and counting to apply for your FREE stay in a Landmark Trust building.

The Landmark Trust has rescued over 200 extraordinary historic buildings, now let for self-catering holidays to pay for their future maintenance. They are inspiring and restorative places to stay. As a building preservation charity, and they are keen for as manay people as possible to experience staying in such places.

50 for Free is now in its third year and creats opportunities for those who might especially benefit from such an experience but might not otherwise be able to afford to stay in one of their buildings. 50 for Free is simply about Landmark seeking to extend the benefit of staying in its buildings to those who need it most. The cost to Landmark is being specifically met by a generous private donor.

Can you apply for a free stay?

Yes, if you apply for your free stay as part of a charities, educational or social enterprise/non-profit organisation. If you know people who are

  • Carers in need of respite breaks (personal or professional)
  • Hero volunteers or employees
  • Struggling families
  • Young carer groups
  • Study trips
  • Retreats

then they will qualify......but they will need  to apply through a supporting group or charity. They would enjoy a midweek (4 nights) and weekend (3 nights) break in a wide range of buildings across England, Scotland and Wales. To see a map of all the buildings taking part in the scheme click here.

This is the feedback from groups who benefitted last year

The closing date for all applications is 30th November 2015 and the application is by a short statement of need/benefit via a simple form pdf here . Email your questions to 50forFree@landmarktrust.org.uk.
