I was delighted that thebestof Abingdon was asked to sponsor a launch event for the Business Fit Club on Friday at Milton Park. The organisation is run by Mary Carter and John Basinger and has been running extremely successfully for some time in the Henley region. The launch was to introduce their service to the Abingdon area.
Business Fit Club supports and motivates owners of small businesses who want to take their business to the next level, but who cannot afford one to one business consultancy. The programme of workshops spans 12 months, with 8-10 people per group. Email mary@businessfitclub.co.uk if you would like more details.
The lunchtime session started with drinks and general networking among about 20 attendees. The major of Didcot and Nicola Blackwood (our Oxford West and Abingdon MP) then attended for the brief overview of Business Fit Club given by John and a very interesting Question and Answer session in which Nicola took part, so enabling the questions to be more policy-based.
