Bonfire night actually falls at a weekend this year, which is great for all event organisers! If you live in the Abingdon area there is quite a selection of opportunities of places to go for firework displays.
On Friday 5th itself there is the Great Milton Firework and Music Spectacular in the village, with a BBQ and childrens’ play park. All proceeds to the school.
On Saturday 6th there are several events to choose from – Culham Park are staging a Fireworks, Laser Show and Bonfire in aid of Help for Heroes, or there is the Annual Didcot Fireworks Display and Bonfire in aid of charity. Oxford’s main event is the annual Round Table Fireworks and Bonfire in South Parks – this is now in its 43rd year!
Of course, if you want to take along something special to nibble on pop into Added Ingredients first....
