Plans for Phase I of the new Abbey Shopping Centre in Abingdon have been approved by the Vale of the White Horse Disctrict Council. The £4m refurbishment will start in February 2012 and be finished by the Autumn, providing a much needed upgrade to the current 1960's design. This will give a fantastic boost to the retail sector in Abingdon, helping to restore the town to it's former glory!
