I've just discovered the Barclay Academy of Complementary Health in Abingdon. How it went unnoticed for so long I don't know as it covers a vast range of complementary therapy training - ideal for starting either a first or second career!

It was founded by Beverly Barclay - an orthopaedic nurse and Radliffe-trained RGN who subsequently trained in Holistic Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage and has been both a practising therapistand a tutor in these for many years. She is also one of the few Bowen Technique therapists in the UK.

The  Academy  is  accredited  by  the  International  Therapy Examining Council  (ITEC)  for  Diplomas  in  Holistic  Massage,  Sports Massage, Aromatherapy  and Reflexology. Any qualification gained here will therefore prove that you have full knowledge and understanding of the  subject, the  highest level  of practical skills and certainty that you are a professional therapist able and qualified to work internationally.

In addition to the ITEC Diplomas, BACH also offers a range of introductory day  courses  in  Massage,  Reflexology,  Kinesiology,  Indian Head Massage,Manual   Lymphatic Massage, Counselling, Alexander Technique and  Making Natural Cosmetics.  These are a great opportunity to discover your potential and progress on to developing a rewarding new career as a practitioner.

There are other courses available and more details on the website:
