Abingdon Dementia Action Alliance has been formed voluntarily in order to raise awareness for people living with dementia in order to create a more dementia friendly community.
Using the Purple Angel logo which is now a worldwide symbol for dementia awareness, what we hope for is that many local companies and business will agree to sign up to becoming dementia aware.
It just takes a very basic step to join us in this campaign and all we are asking is that staff read a few simple leaflets. Once all staff have read leaflets and the understanding of dementia has been increased in that company I will arrive/send them the Purple Angel Logo for their window!
