Added Ingredients in Abingdon have been nominated for Deli of the Year 2012 - the nationwide competition to find the delicatessen with more 'deli-attitude' than any other!

One lucky voter will win a fantastic weekend for two in beautiful Dorset complete with accommodation and dinner at award-winning Plumber Manor, a cookery course at Lesley Walters Cookery School and a visit to Olives Et Al where you’ll create your very own olive recipe or dressing to take away! VOTE NOW.

Voting closes at midnight on 31st May and all votes will be counted at the start of June. The comments and the reasons you give for voting for your favourite deli will be used as a part of the judging process to help shortlist winners - the judges are looking for a place with 'Deli Attitude' e.g. a place that chooses the food it supplies with great care, it supports you as the customer and is run with masses of enthusiasm. A team of prestigious judges; including food journalists, food buyers and members of the Guild of Fine Food will make up the judging panel - keep an eye on the Deli of the Year website where we'll announce the names of this year's judges soon. A selection of delis will be visited by the judging panel and after yet more rigorous scrutiny, 10 Gold regional winners + 1 overall winner will be decided upon.

Deli winners will be announced at the Speciality Fine Food gala dinner on 6th September 2011.

The competition to find the Deli of the Year 2012 was the idea of Olives Et Al; the company supplies olives, dressings, nuts, snacks and sauces, all made in Dorset, to delis and farm shops throughout Britain.
