A £30,000 pot of cash raised through Comic Relief is up for grabs by Shropshire organisations, Community Foundation bosses have announced.
Blists Hill Victorian Town, one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums in Shropshire, will be making an appearance on the TV screen during the BBC’s ground-breaking documentary Andrew Marr’s History of the World on Sunday, 4 November.

Shrewsbury caravan dealership Salop Leisure made a pledge to the Shropshire branch of Macmillan Cancer Support to donate £50 for every goal England scored in the Euro 2012. England scored five goals in the tournament netting the charity £250.
