Jason Kenny, born and raised in Bolton, has claimed two gold medals at the London 2012 Olympic Games, the first member of Team GB to do so. It's an incredible achievement, one to make the whole town proud. Read about it here.
Bolton has launched it's Safe 4 Summer campaign in a bid to keep young people safe during the school holidays, and lessen the number of anti-social behaviour cases and crime taking place as a result of boredom.
Last years Miss Bolton, Gabriella McCoy possessed a lethal blend of brains and beauty which saw her lead the rest of the contenders. This year, the judges are looking for someone equally as good to represent the area, and that person could be you.
