Cannot comment on museum itself as we had limited time and came into ask re Tourist Information. Staff could not have been more helpful and the artist section with coffee stall provided us with rest and chance to buy one of the artists' work. Hope the council realise how lucky they are with their volunteers!

We held our wedding at the OGH and couldn’t fault our experience. Planning everything from abroad made it a little more difficult but the events manager, Mel, was exceptional—she made us feel completely at ease and in safe hands from the very start. In the lead-up to the big day, everything from the food tasting to the planning meetings with the team was smooth, professional, and accommodating.
On the day itself, the staff were fantastic—attentive, warm, and seamless in their service. So many of our guests commented on how great the team was. We opted for a three-course meal, which received rave reviews. Everything ran perfectly and exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend the OGH to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-run wedding venue.

The South Atlantic Medal Association 1982
The South Atlantic Medal was awarded to British military personnel and civilians for their service in The Falklands War. Issued to nearly 30,000 people, the medal is a coin struck by the Royal Mint and issued by the Army Medal Office, and was only given to those who completed at least one full day's service in the Falklands or South Georgia, or 30 days in the operational zone including Ascension Island. In 1982, The South Atlantic Medal Association 1982 was formed in order to maintain and promote a sense of pride and comradeship among all veterans of the South Atlantic campaign, and to re-establish and strengthen links with the people of the Falkland Islands. Had a delicious takeaway meal a few nights ago. The veggie burger was tasty and the sweet potato fries were well-seasoned and crispy. The banoffee pie (which was actually a tart) was good. Looking forward to trying their other menu items.
