Morecambe's Seaside Festival, taking place on 31 August and 1 September, promises an extravaganza of street performance, aerial displays, fireworks and family fun, and is the only way to round off the summer holidays.
Following months of discussion, negotiation and planning, the annual Whitworth Rushcart celebrations will take place in the town on the afternoon of Sunday 8 September 2013. This is a family friendly event and all are welcome.
