Morecambe's Seaside Festival, taking place on 31 August and 1 September, promises an extravaganza of street performance, aerial displays, fireworks and family fun, and is the only way to round off the summer holidays.
Following months of discussion, negotiation and planning, the annual Whitworth Rushcart celebrations will take place in the town on the afternoon of Sunday 8 September 2013. This is a family friendly event and all are welcome.
As the warm weather continues here in Bolton and across the country, it’s a chance to spend more time outside then you would normally. It’s the opportunity to sunbathe, take in the fresh air and just generally do all the things you’re not able to do in the colder months of the year.
Lancaster City Council is inviting everyone to celebrate traditional seaside pleasures and life in and around Morecambe Bay this summer with Morecambe’s 7th annual Sandcastle Festival.
Tickets are now on sale for the 2013 Bolton Food and Drink Festival. Last year, demand for tickets was high and sold out quickly, so book early to avoid missing out on seeing your favourite chef. Tickets for the demonstrations only cost £5, and you can chose one of the 3 demonstrations the chefs are doing.
