An online petition to let sixth-form students in on the Freedom bus pass scheme has nearly reached its goal of 12,000 signatures before the 7th July 2011.
There is local concern about a controversial shale gas ‘fracking’ experiment in the district which could polute our local water supplies as few long terms tests have been carried out
on this process to confirm its safety.
