Founded in 1983 by Nicholas Ross (a leading world authority on Italian art, published author and lecturer), Art History Abroad runs specialist courses in Italy to gap year students - informing them of the fascinating and interesting world of art.
Over the years, AHA courses have become increasingly popular and we have now expanded our services to include Summer Courses, Adult Tailor Made Tours, School Visits and London Walks.

Gap Year Courses
Our six week Gap Year Course is perfect for students and graduates aged 18 to 25 years.
No matter what your academic background, we will take you to the amazing art centres of Italy and educate you on the wonders of Italian Art.
Teaching in small groups in front of paintings and sculpture and within the buildings which house them, our tutors are passionate, well read and really know how to captivate their audience.
Course itineraries are carefully designed.You will travel through:Venice (10 nights), Bologna or Verona (4 nights), Florence (10 nights), Siena or Perugia (4 nights), Naples (4 nights) and Rome (10 nights).We make day excursions to at least six of the following towns:
