The Myton Hospices Need You!!

Volunteer collectors needed for your local hospice in March 2009

The Myton Hospices are looking for volunteers to help with a house to house collection between March 2nd and 13th 2009. Taking part is easy all you need to do is agree to drop off envelopes in the houses 'just up your street' (or more streets if you are willing), call back later to collect them and pay the collected money into the hospice.

The Hospices Community Fundraising Team will support you by providing you with a Collectors Pack, complete with collecting guidelines, an official badge, collecting envelopes and paying in slips and they'll offer any other help or advice you might need.

It is hoped that this appeal, the first of its kind undertaken by Myton, will raise many thousands of pounds for the work of the hospices supporting patients and their families throughout all of Warwickshire and Coventry.

Local organisations such as faith groups, women's institutes and other clubs would be especially welcome to get in touch with the hospice and maybe volunteer to cover a particular village or area.

This is a great opportunity for hundreds of people to get involved in making a real and positive difference to the lives of hundreds of families across our region dealing with the impact of serious illness.

Anyone wishing to volunteer to help should contact the Myton Hospices on 01926 492518 or email h2h@mytonhopsice.org .

It is vital that all volunteers contact the hospice first so that they can be registered and receive the necessary identification cards and information.

No-one should give over any money or envelopes to anyone not able to provide the appropriate identification.

Please mention thebestofwarwick when contacting Myton Hospice, Warwick.
