Visited with a new born, 5yr old and 9yr old. Was a very hot day, summer holiday. So we thought it might have been packed but it wasnt too bad. There is a playground area, an area where you can feed the ducks, geese. Lots of grassy areas for picnics, ballgames, can hire pedalos on the lake, but the bit the children liked best was the splash pad. It was lots of fun. We took a picnic blanket, so I sat on the floor right by the splash pad so I could watch the children. Such a fun way to cool down on a hot day. They took their swimming suits. There are toilets but no changing facilities, so they did it with their towels round them. There is a first aid hub with someone in it, which was good, and a restaurant round the corner. It is free to get into, on a week day the splash pad is open 11 until 5. There were icecream vans by the splash bit and a woman selling those balloons with rice inside. Lovely park, will definitely visit again.

I’ve been going here since I can remember. From the illuminations to bands on the bandstand. It’s a beautiful place to spend an afternoon be it walking, running, feeding the ducks or having a picnic. The cafe is a good addition in recent years although we have been overcharged in the past (tried to charge us £9 for beans on toast!) so we stopped going. The events on the extension and the bandstand are well organised and cater for a wide range of tastes.
One of my favourite places to go!

Great park, really big and allows for done nice walks. We fed the ducks and geese bird seeds, had a nice lunch at the cafe and then played in the kids play park. It was a hot day so the kids enjoyed going in the water park to cool down a bit!

There are three parts to this park, the general park with duck pond, children's play area and large nature reserve that offers excellent walks with your dog. Well worth a visit

This park has maintained its beauty from my childhood. Safety has also improved with soft padding in the play area. Plenty of greenery to walk around.

Lovely space for a walk, run, picnic space and place for families. Everyone seemed really friendly. There was a children's football match taking place and it was so lovely to see mum's and dads watching.

The wooded area was beautiful and a great place to jog. Will definitely be returning on my next trip.

Good place for walking and boating. I found this area is not as big as other park in midland. But overall this is good place for Morning and evening walk.

Walsall Arboretum is a good place to have a family picnic I would recommend you stay by the playground as you can get a few locals who have a drinking problem which I wouldn’t want my kids/nieces to see

Walsall council have spent money to refurbish this Victorian park. Home to a Park Run every Saturday morning. Good cafe and visitor centre.

Lots of different areas to the park. Number of different focal points and activities to enjoy. Good for day out or walk with the dog.

Literally going to the dogs. There was a fun gatherinmg of varied breeds, who brought their owners with them Prizes were awarded to classes such as "Best rescue dog" and "Dog with the waggiest tail". The weather was fine, the contestants well behaved. There were stalls with food, drinks, etc.The only drawback in my opinion was lack of advertising. Many more people would have enjoyed the specacle if they had known of it!

We were staying at the Premier Inn Walsall town centre and this was nearby. A very large park with a lake, cafe, kids playground etc. Kids can feed the birds and have a play while mum and dad enjoy a cuppa.

We enjoyed walking around the arboretum this weekend in the sunshine. It’s so vast and full of pretty areas, it’s almost like you’re not in Walsall at all!

Our one complaint is that the Arboretum would be much improved by a better cafe. We were hungry after walking around and popped into the cafe. We found the menu very limited and the staff weren’t very attentive. As we were ordering one the staff members walked off mid-order without explaining why. We tried their “special” chicken burger and received a tiny bun, with a tiny tasteless chicken burger patty. Not very filling at all. We wish we had packed a picnic for ourselves.

Beautiful place for a relaxing walk. There’s also a free car park. Visited a few times however this afternoon was very busy (bank holiday and beautiful weather) so the children’s play park area was crowded and very noisy (as expected) but the rest was quiet and relaxing

Parked on the side road, we wondered over into the arboretum.

Started off at the visitors centre by getting some duck food. £1.50 per box.

As we had walked passed a troll, inquired & told about the Easter trail still on, leaflets from bottom side window, 7 trolls to find, with a letter & question each, £1 per leaflet, prize for kids whom complete the trail.

Went round the big pond, quite a few other families feeding ducks at the same time.
There were 2 lovely white swans near to feeding area, one swan had what seemed to be a bad left leg, as he kept leg up out of water the whole time. Not certain who takes cares of injured swans.

Had a lovely pleasant walk feeding birds, geese, ducks, swans, pigeons, moorhen & coots (with their big webbed feet).

Ice cream van at top by the Treasure Island Play area just passed the tennis courts.

Trolls were easy to spot, though they only about 18 inches high.

A fun thing for kids & grown-ups alike.

Park ranger talking people round on science trail while we were there, but we were still busy.

A lovely pleasant way to while away the hours on a dry day.
