This is a great place to visit. The arboretum is picturesque whatever the season. Fab for kids bike riding as paths are well kept and wide. There is a large paly area, with a water play part. There is a bowling green, tennis courts and lovely hidden away pathways to explore. Definitely recommend for value for money family day out. Parking is free at the large onsite car park. Café is located by the lake.

Located just outside the Town Centre the Arboretum is a beautiful park with a lake and kids play area. There’s food and drink available during summer months and a lovely place to just relax and chill for a few hours.

Nice place. But not enough bench for elderly or disabled people.

Lovely splash park and adventure park, both kids and adults enjoyed the day. Absolutely packed there but still space to move

Lovely park, just outside the town centre so really easy to get to. My only complaint is the amount of dogs off-lead. It's terrifying when you own a nervous dog. Would be great if there was a properly enforced on-lead only rule.

Lovely well maintained park , can't give it the full five stars for two reasons; too many eastern Europeans up to no good in there and during the six weeks holidays its packed to the rafters with mullions of screaming kids .

Lovely place, we took the grandchildren to the splash park which is brilliant and all free. My husband is disabled and it was a long walk for him. A few unruly children spoiled things a bit but I was disgusted at moslem women in full burkas standing under the water, I don't think it's hygienic and something I really don't want my grandchildren seeing. My personal opinion.
