Paid one of my regular trips to this Indian pub/restaurant.
Good selection of ales and good service.Excellent menu choice and excellent food.
Don't let the outside of the place put you off as it's nice inside and has recently been refurbished.Look out for the specials - they can be outstanding!

We visited the Vine yesterday evening-the best time seems to be just after 6 on Saturday-later it became very busy-
Now-don't be put off by the area -it looks like you are entering a mixed housing/industrial-this is an old Black country pub, which like many,is now an Asian restaurant The restaurant is split into two areas-the bar area-the old pub-comprising various rooms-and a new larger Barbeque area-we ate in the bar-and went for the Days Specials-both under £7 -the total of two curries/naan/pilau rice came to £16-excellent value both for costs and quantity-we ventured into the barbeque area on the way out-it all looks wonderful -we with be back and bringing friends next time!

For some years now an iconic venue for WBA and away supporters alike.
Like the Tardis, you walk into a normal looking pub that is much larger on the inside, and a comfortable environment.
Good quality food is always on the menu and a decent array of drinks.
Very busy on Albion matchdays and weekday lunchtimes.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We visited this pub as " away" supporters before going to the West Brom game. The staff were amazing serving hundreds of people with great food in a friendly and efficient way. Don't be put off by the outside - you won't be disappointed by the food, beer or price.

We had a great meal here! The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service was very good...but it was the food that really cinched the 5 stars for this review. You just know that the food is good when many of the patrons are Indian.

On the way to the football and this was a 2 minute walk from where we parked. We went in and the bar staff were friendly and polite while having a laugh with people and there was a good spirit around the place.

What a place to eat some really tasty food cooked fresh on the hot coals. This bar/restaurant is so big you could get lost in there. I guess you have to be passing through to visit here. It is off the beat and track. I shall return......

Being a regular match day visitor over many years would like to thank everyone at the Vine for consistently providing us with great food service and Bathams (match days only)
We love your refurb and food shame we have to spoil so many sessions by going to the Hawthorns afterwards! Keep up the good work !

Been here a few times and have noticed the food is not as good each time, getting more expensive as well, there are much cheaper places around and better!.

Would I go back No.

2nd visit and the pub had the same good vibe and atmosphere as last year.

Had a mixed group with me of oldies, kids and 'adults' we all found something we enjoyed and the ability to order form a proper pub bar is a winner.

Got introduced to this hidden gem by some mates in the nineties, lads from prestatyn who are form West Bromwich area, we used to go here before and after the footy at the baggies, always a great reception from the owner, after a few years not going, we visited last year, o.m.g this place is now bigger and better!!!
Back in the day the west brom players used to come in after the match, the atmosphere is always superb, and the food is perfect!!
I'm gonna take my nephew this year to enjoy this place!!
To the owners, you have my mates the pardoes to thank for my introduction to this perfect place.
Cannot wait to return.

Popped in on a Sunday evening as a group of three after a long time. Ordering your food is a bit confusing, curries from the bar or bbq from the bbq room. In the end we just went into the BBQ room as it seemed a lot easier.
We ordered chicken tikka, chicken wings, Sheesh Kebab and Fish and the prices seemed really expensive compared to other pubs in west brom but assumed the portions would be big. No table service here so you have to hang around to collect your food.
Arrived on plastic plates, only 5 pieces per portion and you have to pay extra for mint sauce! Food was good except for the kebabs and brown sauce which were poor.
Overall not bad but not good value for money considering not using proper crockery and no table service. It's local competition The Sportsman and The Red Lion are much better value for money and the bbq food is slightly better but that's my opinion.

This pub/balti is a hidden gem just off the M5 motorway. It is well-worth a visit.
Service is efficient, food is basic balti and better for it. Price is very keen and the food arrives quickly. We have been twice now, once in a large group, the second was just the two of us.
The pub side is also good, selection of beers and wine at a competitive price. The only downside is that their puddings seem to be limited to ice cream, still it is Movenpick.
This is now one of our 'go to' places when we want to fill up for not a lot. Yes we will still use our regular restaurant as well, but a night out there is almost double the price.

We came here the first time for a meal with my boyfriend's family as a last minute decision. Admittedly overdressed, the entrance was a bit off putting. We got inside and realised that it was a massive place with a lovely decoration in the bbq room! Ordered food and got them quickly despite being busy on a Saturday night. Needless to say, the food was sublime. The Vine is one of the best restaurants I've been.
We came back a few weeks after and was not disappointed at all.

This is my third visit and though the food was good , the place was a bit tatty looking. We went and they have refurbished the three snugs at the front - we choose the room with the bookshelf paper which was very pleasant for a small group. The food was enjoyed by all - I had a mixed vegetable
curry which was very tasty. My friends decided to opt for the ice cream - the portion size was HUGE ! Definitely for sharing or someone with a very big appetite. They were working on the toilets - so will look forward to seeing the next phase of the work.

Every single time I can make an excuse to go via this place we do. (We live over and hour away) At first the exterior is slightly off putting but the warmth and friendliness comes through as soon as your take a step through the door.
The interior is currently going through a bit of a refurb, which is nice to see. But honestly the rough and readiness about the place is half the charm. So the food, well it's simply amazing BBQ Indian, surely doesn't get better than this. I haven't tried a bad dish and the price is great for what you get. Also the non BBQ items are delicious too. I echo all the positive comments on here about this place, so much so I almost don't want to tell anyone about it as I won't be able to get in for my next visit! ....Go enjoy this amazing food and lovely friendly staff. You won't be disappointed.

I was introduced to this pub with my work friends, when I first saw the outside of the pub, " I thought, ooh it looks a little tatty" but the food is the best ever, if a little bit hotter than my usual,, but it's the best around. It's a local friendly pub, and if you go with a big crowd, there isn't a big delay in getting your food. It's ran in a friendly manor, and it's one of the cheapest night out ive had in a long time. It's well worth paying it a visit, but wear your jeans etc, its not a posh night out, more like a good night with friends after work, or after the football match, as it's close to West Brom's ground.

Fast and bloody gorgeous food. This place is rammed from about 7PM and is the best place for a curry and a pint I've ever been too.

My daughter decided that she wanted a BBQ to celebrate her birthday. Typical of our great British weather the day of the BBQ came and so did the rain. After a flash of inspiration we decided to pay a visit to the Vine and sample a selection of Indian BBQ food. The food was mouthwatering good. We easily found a table and had a great time. I would highly recommend the Vine.

I live in Devon, but have to call in whenever I can.
Great service, fab food, nice atmosphere.
If I lived closer, I'd fill the place with my friends.
