We had a lovely meal orderd 3 mixed grills was deliverd in 15 mins all fresh and home made chips a bonus. Will def b eating here again 😊

Popped in out of the blue and was made very welcome by Tammy the girl who likes Minis
Tammy was very bubbly! Great service and great food! Good laugh, I'd definitely visit again. But only when she's working. Obviously.
Awesome atmosphere, but that could be down to Tammy as well.

I went on a sunny afternoon on a Tuesday to meet an old school friend. As it was a lovely day we decided to sit outside with a beautiful view of the canal. We received fast friendly service off the staff who was very hepfull. The food was really nice, I had fish and chips and my friend the lasagne. Both enjoyed our meals (I really enjoyed the seasoned chips). I would definitely recommend this pub.

After visiting Berts Bistro for a friends birthday I can honestly say that the service recieved was brilliant. We received a very warm welcome and was seated quickly. The food is clearly cooked fresh and has the best chips around! I would definitely recommend this pub for a meal or just a few drinks.

Well, this is such a lovely find. Found it be accident after being wrongly directed by the sat-nav.
This pub has wonderful views and atmosphere. We decided to eat after seeing the lovely meals being served. We were not disappointed. It was freshly made piping hot and obviously made by a chef who knew what he was doing.
Highly recommended and we will be returning on a regular basis.

Extremely busy pub which I didn't expect. However, once we received the Sunday lunch after a little wait, we understood why. It was delicious, the meat was tender the vegetables cooked perfectly and roast potatoes to die for, beef gravy obviously made from meat juices. A total credit to the chef. We will be making this a regular spot from now on.

Me and my partner came across this restaurant as I took the wrong turning on the way home from a shopping trip , we were starving so agreed to pull in , we walked inside and seated straight away ordered some drinks at the bar and looked at the menu . It was a Sunday afternoon and it was quite empty but a few tables were reserved . The menu we were given was just for Sunday dinners ? Im not sure if this is all that is available on a Sunday but as we were happy with a Sunday roast I didn't ask . We both went for the large option of the carvery as we were starving - food was delivered to the table in about 10 mins , it was pipping hot and looked delicious . It consisted of 2 meats (plenty of) , Yorkshire pudding ( homemade ) , mash , roast pots , peas , carrots , broccoli , stuffing and plenty of gravy . We enjoyed our food and would defiantly return again :)

Booked a table for my family for my birthday, excellent service from a lovely waitress, had to wait sometime for the meal to be served but cannot fault the meal when it arrived. The menu a little misleading as did not advise if there were any extras e.g. chips, potatoes etc with the specialty meats, kangaroo, crocodile. But all in all a really enjoyable evening and very pleasant surroundings.
