Having recently visited this pub on a very rare occasions I can't review the food.Bar service was outstanding during our last visit we were greeted by two gentlemen on a Friday the 22nd of March. They where absolutely astounding in and of them selfs I dont drink ales personally, but the shorter of the two advised me on a lovely pale ale which i will continue to seek out at other establishments within the west midlands,we will of cause be coming back again time and time again.Customer service alone, Its such a delight to walk into a establishment with such character and great ales. I would highly recommend if not for anything else but for the two lively gents i met on my visit.

I live in Dublin the past 2 years and love Guinness, never had a Guinness in the UK anywhere near as good, until yesterday, well done team, it was absolutely perfect, the twist and stout was beautiful too, great pub with really good selection of beers, £5.30 a Guinness but when it comes out that good you’ll pay it all day

This place is full of character,and charm great for all ages,staff are really nice but the thing about this pub is the atmosphere and the food is great value and also absolutely delicious and plentiful would definitely recommend for a easy laid back but enjoyable experience

I went with Oakams Pendulum, brilliant at £4.00 a pint.
Every pint I have seen poured has been in perfect condition and clear as a bell, the cellarman must be a wizard 🍺🧙🏿♂️

What it lacks in charm it makes up for in choice. Fantastic and varied range of ales. They don't hide the prices from you as they're displayed on a screen over the bar!

This isn’t just the best pub in town but one of the best pubs in the West Midlands. Over 20 beers on cask and keg available plus numerous bottles. The food is top notch too. A decent town centre location just a few minutes walk from Walsall railway station. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who know their ale. A must-visit if ever you’re in town.
