Originally passed my driving test back in early 2007 with my old instructor. This would also be the last year i tried using a car, which was a courtesy car later that year. The following 11 years I never drove or had much interest in doing so. After a relative passed their test with Paul in September last year, i was recommended to try some refresher lessons with Paul to get back used to driving, so in October 2018 I started some refresher lessons with him. On my first lesson I was understandably a bit rusty with the car functions/controls, but with Paul’s attitude and help I quickly got back into it. What stood out for me with Paul was his relaxed, yet enthusiastic and supportive approach to driving. Always keeping cool and having time to listen to anything you want to know and work alongside your needs, as well as being chatty and friendly about other subjects. I took around 8-10 lessons total with him and I quickly noticed my confidence and driving memory/skills greatly improve. This is due to Paul specialising in working with those who are low on confidence/anxious about driving. So with this I found myself able to go out in a car with little to no trouble after such a long time off the road. I even went on the motorway with Paul for the first time, which was challenging, yet very interesting and rewarding. This experience has also revived my interest in driving/cars. Highly recommended instructor.

I recently passed my test with Rio and I couldn't have done it without the support of Sarah and Paul. I was so nervous when I started my lessons but they both helped to bring out my confidence. I started off my driving journey with another driving company and the man that was teaching me rushed me a lot and it really knocked my confidence. When I started with Chris and Rio I was very nervous and he saw that and took his time and broke everything down for me and even though I am still not perfect he really has helped build up the confidence and made me believe that one day I will pass my driving test.
