My driving instructor Kash is fantastic. Very patient with me as when I started I was quite nervous, he developed a lot of confidence in me with driving. His lessons are well thought out and focus on areas that need work. We spend the whole lesson time driving which gives lots of chance for practice. Would highly recommend him as an instructor.

Recently passed my driving test first try with Ash as my instructor. He was very calm, professional and helpful throughout my lessons and gave me some great advice on how I could polish up my driving skills to become test ready, in a relatively short amount of time. Thank you Ash, very happy customer would definitely recommend.

I had Stephen as my driving instructor, by the time I met Stephen I had already failed 5 times as soon as I met him I knew this tune would be different. He was so patient and kind and really supported me in every way and lead me to a pass today! I cannot recommend him and the driving school highly enough - thank you Stephen!

Had lessons with Lee for about a year and he helped me pass first time. He always made sure I was working on my problem areas, so by the time it got to my test, I knew exactly what to do. Couldn't have done it without him

Huge thanks to Chris at Rio driving school for giving my son the skills and confidence to pass his driving test. It’s been a long journey but Chris has gone above and beyond to teach and support my son week after week. We’ve used other local driving instructors in the past who hugely let us down, but absolutely nothing compares to the 1000% commitment chris puts into his students! We will be forever grateful for his role in helping him gain his independence and confidence in more ways than one! I had such a positive experience with this company and my driving instructor, Ace. I came to him with only a month before my test and he agreed to fit me in for weekly lessons leading up to it, after I’d previously been learning in my own car with family.
From the very first lesson, Ace was brilliant - honest, caring and incredibly observant. He picked up on little things I hadn’t even noticed I was doing wrong and made sure I corrected them. He was persistent in the best way, always focused on making me a safe driver. He made it clear I didn’t need to be perfect, but I did need to be safe - which really stuck with me.
I’m quite an anxious person and don’t usually do well in test situations and I’ve never particularly enjoyed driving lessons. But Ace completely changed that. He made each lesson informative but also enjoyable, built my confidence and reassured me whenever I doubted myself.
In the end, I achieved something I never thought was possible - I passed first time with just one minor.

I would like to say Many thanks to my driving instructor Ahsan. He was always very patient, honest, kind and supportive. He gave me advice that was of great help and boosted my confidence in driving massively. If it wasn’t for Ahsan I would have not passed my driving test so quickly. I would highly recommend this driving school.

Passed my driving test with Kash! Kash has been with me from the very beginning of my journey from May 2025. No experience behind the wheel to fully fledge and confident! He has truly been the best instructor i could ever ask for, from our little gossip sessions, our laughs, support, guidance the lot. I never once missed a lesson as it was that enjoyable! I had an amazing experience with rios driving school My instructor roy, was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Roy made learning to drive feel comfortable and easy. Roys teaching methods were clear and effective, and I especially appreciated the personalized feedback I received during each lesson. 100% recommend rios driving school passed 1st time.

I was learning to drive with Lee, from Rio Driving School for a year and 6 months now. I definitely had my ups and downs through my driving journey, but from my first lesson to my last, Lee has been brilliant and i felt really positive about my driving since the start. Whilst on lessons, I became very apprehensive and hesitant when approaching junctions and roundabouts, and I spoke with Lee about this and he made sure that i felt comfortable, and that the issues were resolved before my test. I feel that what I achieved in my driving lessons is very good for my confidence, now that I have passed my test. Lee has been amazing since day one. He is very professional and he ensures you are test ready. I would highly recommend Lee for anyone who is looking for a driving instructor.

Kash has been an incredible driving instructor. He was patient and supportive, especially when I felt nervous behind the wheel. Just wanting to say thank to Gary, today I've passed my driving test and I owe it to Gary as when I started my lessons I had anxiety and no confidence what so ever in myself, Gary wasnt my first instructor but without his support i wouldnt of achieved a pass today. Gary is a well respected down to earth man and put me at ease from day 1. I can completely recommend Gary for his time patience and everything he's done for me. Gary dedicates his time to all his clients , always been on time and arrived early before every lesson. Generally I highly recommend Gary, again down to earth lovely kind person who will do all he can to help his clients, great instructor and top if off a really good funny guy.

Very reliable service, was able to get lots of lessons suited around my availability. I was quite a nervous driver, but Mr Ash was really nice, very encouraging and patient with me. With his great feedback, I managed to build confidence and improve quickly, passing on my second attempt. Mr Ash is an excellent instructor! 👏 Highly recommend.

Passed with Ash on 2nd try in Featherstone. I was a nervous driver initially but the learning experience with my instructor drastically helped my confidence on the road. He is a great driving instructor & a credit to Rio 👍

Driving instructor Ash was absolutely fab, could not have asked for a nicer driving instructor and experience. Was extremely patient and encouraging, very thorough and positive. I have passed my driving test with the massive help from Harry 2 weeks ago :) He was very calm, supportive and friendly - we had lots of laugh through my learning journey and this has helped with the anxiety I had and have managed to gain the confidence I needed.
