Nice pub but food wasn't the best . Starters were very good but the mains were a bit of a let down . Prawn pasta bland no flavour also the curry not the best.

Absolutely lovely pub! Been to many weddings here and my son’s school prom. The food here is amazing and the roast is not to be missed! Children super welcome and the new owner works so hard offering lots of family days and nights! Beautiful family pub!

Went on a Sunday. Menu therefore is carvery. Choice of three meats, and full range of veg. Roast pots were really good. Hearty lunch. Had nuggets and fries off the kids menu as well. Plenty of food.
Food was good.
We were in the overflow (I’ll call it) shed. Hot day. Lots of flies and it could do with some TLC. But doors were open to patio and kids were running around having fun. It was busy so suggest booking ahead.

Food portions are huge but very nice, service was excellent.
They need a range of local beers, only had London Pride on tap. Not drunk that since the 80's. 😞.
Outside area is very tired but the food made up for that.

My husband and I decided to go for a carvery - just the two of us. The staff were so friendly and professional, they promptly took our orders, gave us our drinks and stated we could go up for food when we wanted. The food was amazing ,so tasty. Meat cooked to perfection. I would have loved a pudding but was too full. Thank you guys for a lovely meal xx

What can I say : This place is too good for words . You need to experience it yourself . It is definitely the nicely pub we have been to around the Taunton area . We were welcomed on arrival and made to feel so relaxed . There were 4 of us and a dog . The food was so fresh and delicious . One of the meals was a shared platter inc warm crusty bread and crackers , fresh ham , home made pickles and so much more . Please visit , you will be just as amazed as all of us . They have definitely got a regular visitor with us . First class service all around with superb delicious food .i promise you won’t be disappointed..

Visited here for a Sunday carvery with the family which we all enjoyed . Meat was delicious although was slightly let down by the fact that some of the veg was obviously frozen and not fresh . Such a shame but all in all I would recommend.

Got a delivery done in a day from Marseille to Derby in a day. Paul was very communicative throughout the process and was very friendly. The final price was much lower than what I anticipated.
If I need any other delivery from France to the UK I will 100% call Lynx Express Couriers again.
