Only here for a few hours but I was impressed.<br><br>It looks small from the outside... so its Much bigger when you get in. Very well laid out.<br>Some nice and unique exhibitions from Roman hoards and other intresting things.<br><br>Plus a nice Caffè in and out seating... clean rest rooms... and its free entry. ...

Fabulous museum in the heart of Taunton in a beautiful, refurbished building which was part of Taunton castle. Something for everyone, great for young and old. We'll worth a visit

Small but wonderful museum set in a restored castle right in the centre of town, showing the history of the local area. Roman mosaic, objects and artefacts through time, plus photographs, a temporary exhibition programme, shop and lovely cafe with a sunny courtyard to relax in. Helpful staff who know even more about local history if you ask them.
