A great museum and free. Definitely worth a contribution. The museum itself is steeped in history the exhibitions inside are great. A fantastic shop and cafe an excellent place for children aswell. Fully recommended. I will be going again.

I visited with a primary school group. We were looked after amazingly throughout. The lady who led the educational part of our visit was exceptional. The gallery is well laid out and full of interest and learning experiences. The Doctor Who exhibit was a welcome surprise! I will definitely be back with my family at some point soon.
