The snowdrops make a beautiful carpet in this, sometimes forgotten, part of the gardens with the stunning nail design. Well worth a visit

Visited at Christmas and saw Santa which was a great experience.
All round good experience especially for kids. They have trails for most school holidays.

Had a wonderful day today exploring the gardens at Hestercombe. The walks are fabulous and the gardens are brilliantly designed. It all sits well in the surrounding landscape.
A shame that the cafe and shop are only open on certain days.
Also it wouldn't take much to make good use of the house here. I'm sure the Historic houses association could help with that.

Lovely walks and house. Also a lovely cafe where you can buy snacks, cake, main meals, sandwiches and drinks (soft, alcoholic & non- alcoholic options).
Dog friendly as well which is always great.

Visited for the first time and had a lovely day exploring the house and gardens. A lovely walk and easy access paths all round. The house was interesting and the guide helpful. A good second hand book shop. The restaurant is very nice and the food choice good. Sandwiches and soup was very nice and the service was good. A nice gift shop too. All in all a wonderful visit and day out....highly recommended.
