My wife and I had dinner...she had the pate and Mediterranean tart, I had the garlic mushrooms and pie of the day. Staff were friendly and helpful overall. Our 2 drinks were not available unfortunately...Earl Grey tea and no beer at all! The pate was nice and generous portion; the mushrooms were a bit gloopy and not very well presented. My wife enjoyed the tart and the steak and Guinness pie was quite nice, although the volume of meat was far too much...they could have made 2 pies with this! Overall, not bad and we'll probably come back to try the carvery in future.

The location is local to us. When we visited we was nearly the first customer's to arrive so place was calm and quiet. We throughly enjoyed our meals and excellent portion size for what you pay for. Our table server Faith went above and beyond to make our afternoon a pleasurable visit. Thank you Faith.

I would 100% recommend Green 4 Go for learning to drive! I had Andy as my driving instructor, he was really patient and made me always felt relaxed whilst driving. He also was very flexible with fitting lessons in if I had a busy schedule with college and work! I passed with 3 minors :)

I've known about Hestercombe since restoration started but this was my first visit. Despite it currently being in administration, there was no sign of neglect at all. Volunteers and staff all lovely. The gardens must be at their best in June. Very highly recommended.

Great service from Rhys and the team. Helpful throughout our decision making regarding solar panels and fitting them. Considerate of us and our kids whilst working and all completed in a timely manner (given a date in advance which is always appreciated!). After fitting Rhys checked we were happy with the panels, battery and the app and how well our solar panels were doing etc. Very pleased with our decision to get the panels and will be asking this company back when we are ready for a second battery!

We had a complete solar system and batteries fitted by Solar Electrical Services in August 2025, now three months on we are so please that we went with them as the install was totally hassle free, The system is working better than we could imagine. Chase also gave us great technical support when needed to set the batteries to over night charging, Chase and his team are very professional. Everything has been outstanding .
Would highly recommend them.
