A really lovely place to visit, great food nicely presented, stunning gardens and views, and helpful staff. A great day out and worth repeat visits. Would be even better if more accessible by public transport!

Enjoyed exploring very much, nice hike through the Somerset hills. Some interesting history. Alas the house has seen better days and the art installation whilst of interest was lacking, excellent used bookstore with lots of titles. The gardens are the main attraction need attention, lockdown has not served them well and they need TLC and volunteer support. Hoping for another visit come spring and would expect a higher level of garden maintenance
