Well worth a visit, very pleasant walks around the grounds, clever design of formal gardens to exploit hillside location. Good food in the Stables Café, freshly prepared and quick service. Dogs are welcome in café and grounds. Best to pre-book tickets online for lowest price.

A lovely place to visit. Not really wheelchair friendly and we came across 2 very upset people who had been told it was !

there is woodland and lovely gardens, very fresh tasty brownies i recommend. the price could be a lot cheaper.. £11.50. but at least you don't pay for parking. i think kids uo to certain age are free. their bat housing camera didn't work so didn't see anything. map is fairly well illustrated but could be bit clearer on some of the paths as they are not shown.
