Couldn’t have done it without them
Merve and Al-Amin were so incredibly helpful to us during the entire visa process from start to finish. We first met Al-Amin in person, and we quickly realized that we wanted to go with Amicus Law to help get my spouse visa. The case was eventually switched to Merve, and both of them were so helpful. They answered all of our questions (there were many), and their email responses were timely. Their answers were always clear, and they made the whole process seem so easy. We’re glad that we listened to their advice leading up to actually applying for the visa. My visa was approved with no issues, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We originally spoke to many different solicitors and lawyers, trying to find the right fit for us, and we didn’t feel comfortable or confident until we met with Al-Amin and Merve. We could not recommend Amicus Law more, and we would choose them again when reapplying in the future. Thank you!

Our solicitor was Andrea Parsons, we can’t explain how happy we are with her, the quick responses always keeping us up the date, and when the situation became difficult she went far and beyond to get us the house as soon as possible as well as Donna she always replied so quickly and friendly. Not only were Marie and JoJo tenacious, active, extremely knowledgeable, helpful and extremely good at communicating with all parties, they were kind, patient and understanding during an extremely difficult time.
Nothing was ever too much trouble and I had emails from them at the weekend which showed me they were taking my matters extremely seriously and were working hard all the time.

Sale of Tenanted house February 2025
We engaged Amicus Law in respect of the sale of a rented property in York. The firm was readily approachable by telephone; subsequent communication with the solicitor and her office staff was reliably prompt; the legal process was explained and queries clarified. When difficulties were encountered both with the buyer's delays in their mortgage offer, and with the local council's rented accommodation regulations, these were patiently managed and satisfactorily resolved. Documentation was issued in a timely way, was accurate, and took account of changing circumstances or requirements. Amicus Law's fees represented excellent value for money, compared with similar previous sales by various firms. We are grateful to Andrea Parsons, our solicitor, and to conveyancing assistant Donna Everett.

This process for us was potentially very emotional and stressful and not one we wished to take but thanks to the wonderful commitment of Heidi Cowling was an utterly seamless process.
