We recently had pur baby son passed away and we approached the Allerford to ask them to hold the wake for us. They kindly did this for us free of charge. They helped us to set up the room as we wanted it as well as put on a lovely spread of food and had a great area for kids to play (as we wanted to make it child friendly). Thank you so much for making such a hard day better for us. We highly recommend these lovely people and this great establishment.

I really can't praise the team at the Allerford enough. Really great food served by helpful, smiley and a professional team. Nothing was too much trouble.

Went for a carvery and despite it being incredibly busy the service was fantastic. The food beat all expectations and the dauphinoius was the absolute stand out.
It's very rare to have a carvery with no corners cut and I couldn't recommend more.

We went out from my birthday meal as it was my birthday yesterday we decided to have a treat and go for a carvery unfortunately the food was not up to standard today the vegetables were cold and on the hard side especially the cauliflower cheese .
Another thing I didn't like which is my personal preference and I personally can't stand is the fact that the waitress kept calling my husband my love I personally feel it's rude and unprofessional.
One thing I can say is that you can't beat the desserts the portion sizes were really good and my children enjoyed their chocolate brownie and chocolate fudge cake.
