What a wonderful place to get ya chops dirty, food the absolutely perfect, massive portions and very well priced. All the staff there are amazing and carry smiles on their fresh clean young faces 😊.<br><br>All that needs to be added is a trampoline for the kids. Absolutely love this pub and the people in it. 5* all day long

Went for Sunday lunch here. A really good meal and plenty of it. They have a good space outside as well so on a good day there's room for the family to have a run around. It's quite out of the way which is great but a little bit of a trek. It is right next to a railway which generally isn't a problem. The staff are pleasant and good service.<br>We would go again.

Been wanting to try this place for a while as we pass it frequently. Really nice pub and friendly staff. The food is really good, proper home cooking.<br><br>I had the Allerford Chicken which was delicious and my fiancé really enjoyed his burger! (Only feedback was I wish my meal was on a plate not in a bowl, but just personal preference)<br><br>But overall very tasty food and looking forward to coming back, thank you!

Visited when we were in the area for a few days. Dogs are welcome and we had ours with us. We sat inside. Had two mains, two desserts and two drinks (1 alcoholic) for £54. Nice welcome, server was attentive and friendly, wasn't v busy but was a random weeknight. Food was decent. Had a nice outside area and lots of parking.
